Carroll Architects has been involved in a number of projects at St Ursula’s Primary School including repair and renovation works and extensions for additional classroom accommodation. The service provided involves the coordination of an architect-led design team with input from engineers, quantity surveyors and fire safety consultants. Education projects regularly include project management from initial funding stages through to planning permission, tendering and completion.
To meet the growing population in the area, Faithlegg National School has grown from two classrooms to eight classrooms with a library and a large multipurpose room. This development has taken place over the past three decades with Carroll Architects providing professional services throughout this period. The final phase of the masterplan was completed by extending at first floor level, resulting in two additional classrooms overlooking the Suir estuary.
